We are looking to hire a Tech Lead to join our company. You will be part of the continued improvement and growth of our Software Solution.
The role:
As a Tech Lead at Innotech, you will play a key role blending technical expertise, mentorship, and strategic leadership. You’ll guide the design and development of impactful solutions for thousands of global users. Freed from direct line management responsibilities—handled by Engineering Managers—you’ll focus on driving technical excellence, improving system architecture, fostering collaboration, and solving complex challenges.
You will collaborate closely with the Principal Engineers , ensuring alignment on technical strategy and architectural decisions while collectively driving key initiatives and setting technical direction for the broader team. Together, you will act as champions of innovation, creating a culture of technical excellence and teamwork.
In this hands-on leadership role, you will lead technical initiatives, push best practices, and remain deeply involved in system design. You’ll also mentor and grow team members while promoting a culture of ownership, transparency, and innovation aligned with Innotech values of collaboration, creativity, and ambition.
Responsibilities:
● Define and drive the team’s technical direction, ensuring scalable, maintainable system architectures.
● Design and develop reliable RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services (including M2M authentication via Auth0).
● Leverage AI agents and tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Prompt Flow) to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
● Solve complex technical challenges—optimize SQL/NoSQL queries, address performance and scalability in cloud environments.
● Build and maintain serverless workflows using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and API Gateway, backed by infrastructure as code (CloudFormation/SAM).
● Promote best practices in code quality, documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI), security (OWASP/IAM), and CI/CD (Azure DevOps).
● Mentor team members, foster innovation and ownership, and encourage open communication across functions.
Requirements:
● 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development and architecture, preferably with a Computer Science or related degree (or equivalent experience).
● Proven expertise in C#/.NET (Core, EF, minimal APIs).
● Deep SQL Server skills—schema design, query optimization, performance tuning, and writing complex T-SQL (stored procedures, functions, views).
● Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cosmos DB, DynamoDB).
● Strong understanding of RESTful API design, M2M authentication (Auth0), and API documentation standards.
● Experience with JavaScript/Node.js, event-driven systems (SNS/SQS, EventBridge), and containerization (Docker).
● Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, and deployment via CloudFormation/SAM.
● Skilled with CI/CD in Azure DevOps, including automated testing (unit/integration).
● Familiarity with AI agents (e.g., Copilot) and workflow tools (n8n) is a plus.
● Strong leadership guiding cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects.
● Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
